| k: | Kyu; 30 kyu is the lowest, goes to 1 kyu |
| d: | Amateur dan; 1 dan is the lowest, goes to 9 dan |
| p: | Professional dan; same as above |
There are also various other ranks (currently two). They should be self explanatory.
